What to expect when you visit

An osteopathic treatment will involve your osteopath asking questions about your problem and your medical history.

Your osteopath will then examine your problem and maybe other related parts of your spine or joints, soft tissue work (usually massage) will be performed before any structural manipulation is performed if this is the preferred method of treatment.

A cranial treatment for a child or newborn will involve questions being asked regarding the childs delivery and the problems the child and their parents are having. Cranial treatment is a very gentle technique which does not cause the baby any stress.

Conditions which may be helped are colic, reflux, sleep issues, feeding problems, excess crying for no known reason, glue ear and ear infections and in older children accidents and trauma related pain
