Alasdair trained at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in London, where he gained a Masters in Osteopathic Medicine and a Diploma of Naturopathy in 2013.
Alasdair decided to emigrate to the Sunshine coast in Australia before settling in New Zealand in 2015, where he has practiced since.
He has always enjoyed treating a range of patients from sportsmen to the elderly. He enjoys targeting a condition with a multi-disciplinary approach of both osteopathic technique, home education and exercises rehabilitation. He uses an array of techniques such as: mobilisation, manipulation, soft tissue technique, myofascial release which he uses in conjunction with hydrotherapy, diet, exercise and ergonomic advice to treat conditions. He particularly enjoy complex cases which he integrates with other practitioners to ensure the best treatment outcome for his patient.
He has always had an active sporting background participating in football and rugby from a young age, which has helped facilitate his love of anatomy and bio-mechanics. Since coming to New Zealand he has become a keen fisherman and diver.
